Tune-ups and carburetor cleaning

A tune-up helps an engine that has lost some of its smoothness or responsiveness. We also offer carburetor cleaning for older vehicles that still run a carburetor. If you drive a classic or an older car that idles poorly or hesitates, ask us about it. South Florida heat and stop-and-go traffic are hard on engines of every age, so small symptoms are worth checking early.

Signs your engine needs attention

• The engine idles roughly, stalls or hesitates when you accelerate
• The check engine light or another warning light is on
• Noticeably less power or worse fuel economy than before
• Knocking, ticking or other new engine noises
• An older vehicle that is hard to start or runs poorly, which may point to a carburetor that needs cleaning
