Popular Nissan models in South Florida
Altima, Sentra, Versa (sold through 2025), Rogue, Kicks, Pathfinder and Frontier.
Nissan CVTs and fluid
Many Nissan models, including many Altimas, Sentras and Rogues, use a continuously variable transmission (CVT). A CVT depends on the correct fluid, heat is hard on transmission fluid, and South Florida is a hot place to drive. Check your owner's manual for the recommended fluid and service schedule instead of assuming the fluid never needs attention. We perform CVT fluid service using the fluid type your model specifies.
Symptoms like shuddering, whining, hesitation when you accelerate or a transmission warning light are worth having checked sooner rather than later.
Pathfinder and Frontier
If you tow or carry heavy loads in a Pathfinder or Frontier, brakes, tires, suspension and transmission fluid see the most extra work.
