The Honda Maintenance Minder
Many modern Hondas use a Maintenance Minder system instead of a single fixed schedule. The dashboard shows an oil life percentage and, when service is due, a main code (such as A or B) plus number codes for items like tire rotation or filters. Your owner's manual explains what each code means, so you can tell what is due before you call us.
Transmission fluid on Hondas
Honda uses different fluids for different transmissions. Many Hondas with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) call for Honda's own CVT fluid, while conventional automatics call for a different Honda fluid. We perform CVT fluid service using the fluid type your model specifies.
Honda items worth checking
- The codes shown by your Maintenance Minder
- Engine and cabin air filters
- Spark plugs, at the interval in your manual
- Brake pads and rotors
- The transmission fluid type for your model
- Struts as mileage climbs
